Finished FRP products will reproduce the surface of the mold, the mold has to have a mirror-like gloss. The last problem in FRP anyone wants to have is a product that is sticks to the mold. Patrol Wax Stripper
Great for older molds where wax build-up becomes a problem. Apply to remove old wax and revive the gloss of mature molds. Patrol is also used to strip old floor wax prior to applying a new coat of wax. |

Liquid Release Wax and Paste Release Wax
Choose from the two most popular types of release agents for FRP. Apply on mold, allow to dry and buff. For new (green) molds, apply several layers before lay up to prevent poor release. The mold should have a mirror-like finish before hand lay up begins. Re-apply after every demolding. |

Dura-Wax
An improved version of the famous release waxes, Dura-Wax not only polishes marble floors but is also an easy-to-apply mold release agent for fiberglass products. |

Mirro-Glaze
Cleans, shines, protects FRP. Sprinkle liberally on surface to be cleaned and then buff. Wipe immediately with a soft clean cloth. DO NOT allow to dry before wiping. Notice the shine on the finished product (right) after buffing with Mirro-glaze. Also polishes wood, vinyl, leatherette, steel.
FRP molds for boats, cars & parts, trains, planes, Jetskis, etc. require significant amount waxing. Use only the best release agents and polishers.
Use 31-441 series of isophthalic polyester resins and/or CR10-690 Tooling resin for FRP molds. |

 AXEL Mold Wiz UFC/LNC
Liquid external release agent that dries at room temperature forming a mono-molecular film which adheres to the mold surface and has no affinity for the molded resin.
Numerous demoldings per application of release agent can be expected. The release will not interfere with secondary finishing such as decorating, bonding, or painting. AXEL Paste Wiz
Paste external release wax. Apply 3-5 coats successively while still wet. Hand buff while still wet.
AXEL Clean Wiz 9
Heavy duty solvent system for cleaning/ stripping the mold. Removes resin residue such as: epoxy, phenolics, polyesters, polyurethane as well as grease and waxes.
AXELGLO
A liquid polymeric emulsion-based polishing compound which is used to polish different surfaces: FRP products, polyester clear cast items, synthetic granite, painted metal and chrome surfaces. |
